When you create an account we collect your email address and a password, which we store hashed and cannot read. We generate a display name from your email address; we do not ask for your real name. When you activate a license we store the hardware ID (HWID) of the machine you activated it on, so the license can be bound to it. We also keep what you send us when you contact support. We do not collect your phone number, your postal address, or your payment details.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, such as to securely bind your license to your hardware, process transactions, and send you related information, including confirmations and receipts.
We share data with two providers who operate parts of this service, and with neither of them for advertising. Whop processes your purchase and receives what it needs to bill you and to handle invoices, tax and disputes; it is the merchant of record for payment settlement and for the sales tax and VAT it remits on our behalf. A third-party live chat provider operates the chat widget that loads on every page of this site; it receives your browser and device information, the page you are viewing, and anything you send in a chat, and it may set its own cookies in your browser. We have turned off its collection of visitor IP addresses. Beyond those two, we do not share your personal information, except where the law requires it.
Our site analytics are self-hosted on our own servers. Our analytics sets no cookies, collects and stores no personal data, and does not track you across other websites. No analytics data is shared with third parties.
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Every account has a referral code, which is a random eight-character string containing no personal information. If you create your account through someone else's invite link, we store a permanent link between your account and theirs, because that link is what lets us pay the reward when you buy your first license. We never show either of you the other's name or email address: the person who invited you sees only dates and day counts, never who bought or when they signed up. You cannot be assigned a referrer after your account exists, and the link is never changed afterwards.
